This holiday season, NEO Finance made sure that those who need attention the most get it with a smile 🎁🎁🎄
The Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Lithuania organises a campaign “Give a gift to the elderly”, which collects gifts for the elderly, such as food and other necessities, and distributes them to those who live farther away from the city and who need them most. Before Christmas, NEO Finance employees were thinking about what they could do to cheer up the elderly and were busily collecting parcels in the office.
Before Christmas, the collected goodies were sent to the Maltesers’ home, from where they were handed over to seniors in different parts of Lithuania. While organising the contribution to this campaign, we received a list of the needs of seniors and realised that some people, due to health or financial difficulties, need help with even the most basic everyday tasks.
So, while we were collecting boxes, we also ran a fundraising campaign on the FinoMark platform. NEO Finance contributed EUR 1 500 and the FinoMark donation page raised a further EUR 804 during the week.
We believe that this support will help seniors in the near future – with home repairs, home appliances, everyday products, unexpected expenses or social assistance.
